When I Started My Online Journey
When I started my online work a few years ago — I’ll tell you what kind of work it was — I used to think it would be very difficult and require a lot of money.
But honestly, I didn’t even invest a single rupee.
What I had was a simple LG mobile phone worth Rs. 33,500 — an old model — and an internet connection.
I don’t count the internet as an investment because I already had it for a long time.
If you’re a student or doing a job and you want to build an online side income — and eventually make 500,000 to 800,000 PKR monthly — then stay tuned because I’ll give you some amazing ideas.
All the work I’ll mention here is being done by people in Pakistan — nothing unrealistic at all.
Making Money Even Without Skills
Nowadays, there are so many ways to earn online that even someone with zero knowledge or skill can make good money.
For example, you can use ChatGPT for script writing — write quality scripts for YouTube creators.
A “script” means the planned dialogue for a YouTube video — what to say, when to say it — which improves engagement and brings more views.
Many YouTubers need scriptwriters, so look for channels that lack good scripts.
(Don’t email me, though — even my own thumbnails are bad! People often offer to design them for me.)
Anyway, you should make a list of 15–20 Indian and Pakistani YouTubers who might need help.
But if your English is good, I strongly recommend working with UK or USA-based YouTubers — they pay far better.
In Pakistan or India, creators don’t earn as much, but in the US/UK, YouTubers earn up to 20 times more — so they pay writers accordingly.
If someone pays Rs. 1,000 here, they might pay Rs. 15,000–20,000 there.
Build Confidence and Connect with Clients
When you approach them, your confidence matters a lot.
If you sound confident, they’ll trust you and may hire you.
Some of my own subscribers contacted me confidently, showed me their skills, and now I work with several of them on different projects.
Selling Your Skills Online
If you already have a skill — learn to sell it online.
I spent nine years learning different things like YouTube marketing and digital product selling.
Around mid-2022 or early 2023, I launched a website called bilaledu.com, where I started teaching all the skills I had learned — and I began earning from it too.
That’s why I always say: Build multiple sources of income.

Once you realize the possibilities, it becomes exciting — because I personally discovered how powerful it can be.

You can use AI tools like ChatGPT or Midjourney to generate content for others.
Even though Midjourney is paid, free alternatives and trials are available.
Start free — once you earn, reinvest in better tools.
You can even manage someone’s Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok pages.
For example, you can offer to create posts, captions, or short video clips from their long-form content.
You’ll find many creators who post on YouTube but not on other platforms — contact them and offer to handle their social media.
Start with a small monthly fee — once they see results, they’ll naturally increase your pay.
Local E-Commerce in Pakistan
Another great method — and one where many have earned millions — is Local E-Commerce.
This means selling physical products within Pakistan: clothes, shoes, wallets, belts, tech gadgets, etc.
However, let’s be real — starting this business does require investment.
If you use Shopify, you’ll need to pay $25/month after the trial.
You’ll also need funds for ads and inventory (stock).
If you already have organic traffic, great — but usually, you’ll need to run ads on TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram.
Plus, you’ll need to keep stock ready for packing and delivery.
If you don’t have capital, you can partner with local shops — offer to sell their products online and share profits.
Digital Product Selling
This is my favorite — Digital Product Selling.
You can sell eBooks, templates, themes, courses, or plugins.
For example, my website ed.com sells WordPress themes and plugins.
The best part?
There’s no stock and no shipping hassle.
Once a product is uploaded, you can sell it unlimited times — even to millions of buyers — without ever running out of inventory.
That’s why digital products are one of the best long-term income sources.
Freelancing
Next is Freelancing — one of the fastest ways to make good money without investment.
You can sell services like digital marketing, web design, or speed optimization.
But remember, freelancing isn’t an overnight success.
To boost your Fiverr or Upwork profile, get your first few ratings from friends or relatives abroad — but do it properly so your account doesn’t get banned.
Ask them to search manually for your gig, open others too, and then place a real order.
Deliver properly, and after a few days, get a genuine review.
Repeat from different countries for authenticity.
YouTube Channel
YouTube is another goldmine.
Once you choose a niche (Tech, Finance, Travel, Motivation, etc.), create regular content.
After your channel gets monetized, you can easily start making hundreds of dollars monthly.
It takes hard work, but it’s totally worth it.
Copy-Paste Blogging
Finally — Copy-Paste Blogging, one of the easiest ways to earn online in Pakistan.
Hundreds of people learned it from me and now earn well.
